In the Fall of 2010 John Barnard and I did a "joint demo" painting for the Cayucos Art Association.  We worked on the same large watercolor painting, back and forth, taking turns until we finished the painting of the Cayucos pier and beachside businesses.  John talked me into this venture, and I fretted for several months, but since he is my mentor and friend, I gave it a try.  I told him later not to tell anyone, but I actually enjoyed it!
