Paintings Around Town The show is comprised of large scale landscapes and smaller candid views, primarily in watercolor ....after all, we are at the beach! I think they are for the most part frisky and whimsical and meant for people to get a kick out of viewing. So, come by and take a look, you just may spot yourself in one of the paintings!

As a local artist for more than 20 years, I have taken part in many art related events in and aroundour county, but never have I had a show like this one. I decided it was time to pay a bit of an homage to my favorite places in our funky little beach town. It wasn’t difficult, going around with my sketchbook and camera searching for interesting people andplaces. A cup of coffee at Kelly’s, a glass of wine at Schooner’s (what’s in those blue martinis? hmmm), fish tacos at the Smoke House and Duckie’s....beach people, the pier, Borradori’s Garage...it’s truly endless the possibilities for interesting stuff to sketch and paint!
